Stainless Steel Inlet manifold Stud Kit.
Will Fit All K- Series Engines
Made from A2/ 304 Grade Stainless Steel
In the kits are the following :-
9 0ff Hexagon Socket Set Screws
9 Off Aerotight Nuts (anti vibration)
9 Off Flat Washers
Upgraded allen key head, rather than you having to use 2 nuts locked together when changing them the studs.
A known common fault with the MGRover K- Series engines is these studs often deterierate with time causing the mild steel screws originally fitted to corrode & seize.
When you try to remove the original nuts you fine they easily round off, due to either the nuts, stud threads or both been damaged.
As routine practice now when changing a head gasket or exhaust manifold etc on our customers cars we always replace the original Studs, nuts & washers with this stainless steel kit.
We recommend you put a smear of copper grease on the bolts when changing them.
These bolts are a direct replacement for the standard bolts
